Falcimont
An isolated Vacillian town. It's a fascinating place, built around an ancient palace, but it's sparsely populated and feels like a ghost town from the streets.
Garden of Memorials
Falcimont has endured many waves of death, even by Vacillia's standards, and people from all different communities are memorialized throughout the city. Gargoyles stacked up from cobblestones or driftwood are stationed at every crossroad, painted in the autumn and overgrown with weeds in the spring. Fictional amphibious creatures, approximated with boulders draped in wool and carved bones, loiter by the rivers and creeks. Piles of fruits and vegetables are assembled in human shapes, standing in markets and watching over the other produce. Great wooden masts, sometimes carved out like totems, can be seen from miles away, swaying over the buildings below. Being divine objects, these decorations never see a speck of rot or mold. Falcimont has piles of artwork that should be perishable but isn't, which makes the city feel like a waking dream. Whether in the middle of town or hidden in the back roads, each memorial is lovingly maintained by the household god living inside.
