Archon Glacies

History

…Heralded as a disaster, the Cold Death has lost much of its superstitious image from the common folk as the world advances and we all have more access to tools such as the Arcgems. However, the effect on nature is still telling. Before the first dragon war many an orc farmland would be ruined by Glacies simply flying over it. As each wing beat would cause such frigid chills even the hardiest of orcs would develop frost bite. From what little contact the younger races have been able to achieve, Glacies seems to be one of the more personable of the Archons and doesn’t wish to directly harm those around it. Anatomy

…The scales from the dragon’s body have the unique property of remaining cold for a seemingly infinite about of time akin to a block of ice which never melts. A piece recovered from the first dragon war still remains within the Saint Caldrin’s Museum in the Gnomish capital. To this day regular use of fire elementals are required to keep the scale from causing the very room it is in from freezing. Speculation continues as to whether this piece will remain at sub arctic temperatures or if it is tied to the life of the Lord it came from…
