Archon Mare

History

…as one of the two great rulers of the seas Mare is the largest of the Archons and spends most of its time deep under water. Though it can fly like any other dragon, barring Terra, and is a sight to behold. Mare is a former Divine of the Merfolk giving this Archon the only known congregation of non dragonic followers in which it give some sort of power too. It is unknown how his relationship with Bastion is, but there have been no known battles between the two leading some to speculate if one of them is the spawn of the other. Many are thankful it rarely ever comes out of the ocean as when it goes back in the dive is less than gentle. Tsunamis are common…

Anatomy

…Being a creature of innate arcane energies, it is unknown how it was able to retain this nature while still being able to grant divine magics to Merfolk of old. As these two forces, divine and arcane, have no other known intermingling. It seems this mystery will never be solved as the Archon has refused to answer any Merkfolk prayer after the emperor Alas made the deal with Mian leading to the great demonic incursion…
