Professor Barnard Forestburner

…Professor Barnard Forestburner High-Priest of Urlock was born in the now disbanded Forestburner clan of orcs. He was the first-born son of the clan chief with a bright and easy future ahead of him. At least by orc standards at the time. However, he did not follow this path. It is said that those with a singular driving passion achieve the greatest things in life and Forestburner is more evidence of this. According to records, both oral and written, he saw Archon Ferrum when he was barely out of his mother’s sling and the awe he felt was burned into his very soul. From that point on he would go out of his way to learn as much about dragons as he could….   …can happen when more than one aligned so let that be a lesson from dear and departed Forestburner here. The professor himself was known for being soft spoken and polite for an orc man. So, about the normal level of excitedness for a human. I jest, I jest. The time he spent within the clergy of Urlock proved a boon for him as his personal mind set and that of the Divine of Dissolution were complementary. However, he was removed from his local places of faith because of a great disagreement with the head priest and owner of the Cliftbreaker library when it came to certain aspects to dragon history…   …with four years after. It was at this point when he completed his first climb up Inazuma Toraiaru with the aid of his younger sister Xine, his uncle Dadardon, his best friend William Carlile, and the woman who would become his wife Geythain Alancia. It has been recorded that once they returned to the mainland each of them went almost four months before they saw Forestburner again. This is because he ventured into a small cabin in the woods which he bought so he could write the first volume of his Treatises on Draconical Effects without interruptions…   …which is why an axe thrown from a ledge is normally better. Because why not, lets end on the more martial side of the Professor. Though his faith in Urlon’s ways was strong he was not a paladin. Just a simple and traditional orc fighter in that regard. Shield in one hand and axe in the other. He did use his intellect to dive into the study of Weapon Acolyte to gain a more tactical advantage than a basic fighter though. He even added to the accepted curriculum of those wishing to learn the ways of the Weapon Acolyte by perfecting what is now referred to as the Charging Flow…   -Excerpts from Urlock'Scrutiny Lecture "The Dragon Historian" by Decardin Stomper
I specialize in the history and effects of dragons and their kin. Why? Because dragons are cool.   -Professor of History Barnard Forestburner
