How This Realm Works

The demiplane of Ahciliz is a living world founded by characters who were spontaneously teleported away from Faerun during a cataclysmic event. Many connections still exist with their old world such as the presence of Gods across the Astral Sea, but physical access to the plane has been cut off.  Much of the game play in Haven-Ahciliz is purely living world role play.

What is a living world?

To put it simply, the world exists and progresses regardless of character contribution, but progression can be affected by character contribution. Time does not stop and wait for the players, and the world is constantly changing and moving, but is also always available for role playing and discovering new experiences.
In the plane of Ahciliz, Haven is the town setting of our living world. Time in Haven does not stop and follows the calendar of Harpatos, matching to the days of Earth.

Leanhaun

Ahciliz’s only citizen, a depowered goddess by the name of Leanhaun, works with the refuges to seek out new planes to connect with. It is in these planes that the play-by-post games really happen. Time becomes disjointed when characters jump through portals to other planes, but the possibilities are endless. Characters can explore countless worlds with undiscovered wonders, face terrible beasts, or make new friends. The goal is to gather knowledge, retrieve valuable resources, and of course...survive! 

Your Role As Adventurer

Haven is a hub of activity and provides a place for general role play. It is the gathering hub for all citizens and as such, you will encounter a variety of players and characters here! While on missions, you will work with a select number of individuals and answer to a Dungeon Master.
