Obituary:

Gloria Montagnon traveled the land searching for any signs of her granddaughter's remains after hearing that she had died. Her journey took her to the farthest reaches of the Howling Plains, where she found her remains, preserved by a curse. In the end, Gloria struck a deal with an ancient dragon living in the Howling Plains, trading her life for her granddaughters. She was buried with love on a cliff overlooking the sea and is survived by her estranged family and the companions she came to love as her own blood.

An older human woman just trying to find the body of and raise enough money for the funeral of her granddaughter who her estranged son does not agree with enough to contribute anything for.
