Tyrrin
Tyrrin, God of Conquest and Honor, Champion of the Just, is almost exclusively worshipped by the Elves of Lasceye in Aheila. While the worship of Tyrrin is widespread, the Knights of Tyrrin, who devote their lives to His service is almost entirely comprised of military officers. In fact no one is allowed among the upper echelons of the military without demonstrating absolute devotion to Tyrrin and swearing themselves to Him as part of their Oath of Service to the country.
The legend of Tyrrin's origin is taught to every Lascyan from a young age. It is said that he was once a king who ruled over his people justly, and his lands were filled with prosperity. Keen to better the lives of those not under his rule, Tyrrin began a mighty conquest that swept across the land, and over the course of centuries, his empire spanned continents. It is said that his armies were unparalleled, never knowing defeat. His people looked to him with respect and reverence. As he aged, however, he saw his folly – his sons were arrogant and spoiled and would not make suitable kings. So he set out on a quest to drink from the Font of Divinity. For seven years he pursued the Font until at last he found it and drank from its waters to attain everlasting life so that he might bide his time until a suitable heir presented itself. Returning to the capital of his empire, he was greeted as a hero who had done the unimaginable. And yet, mere days later, he was betrayed. One of his closest confidants, a trusted advisor and friend, sought to take power for himself. He slew Tyrrin with a cursed dagger, destroying his mortal body. But the Font of Divinity did its work. Though Tyrrin could no longer remain on the mortal realm, nor could he die, for the had the power of the gods. He ascended to godhood, himself, and became a patron of conquest and honor.
Tyrrin is depicted as a giant, hollow suit of armor. The armor is made of gold and laid with jewels, yet it is spattered with blood and scarred from years of battle. In one hand he grasps a banner and in the other, a spear. From beneath his visor, a brilliant, blue light glows.
