House Zulpair
The Waterdhavian noble house owns many merchant ships that take advantage of the city's deep water harbour. They have been both successful at determining what trading routes will be successful and starting with the current patriarch's father, they have shown a lot of force in the social manoeuvres within the nobility.
Structure
The current head of the family is Lord Gerath Zuipair and his consort, Lady Yanica Zulpair (originally of House Gralhund). Lord Gerath was much more fond of being at sea than leading the house within the city, but his big laugh and his very dignified wife means he carries a lot of influence even in his old age.
Lord Gerath and Lady Yanica's firstborn and heir, Qosovo Zulpair, is quite charismatic, some say manipulative, and often a popular addition to most social events. As is his sister Zavoka Zulpair and her husband. Neither of the two are interested in being at sea however and their younger brother, Sarastyn Zilpair, has gained their parents' appreciation for his sea voyages. He has also gained the nasty nickname "Bitchloved" for his ability to sail even nasty storms and assumed to be liked by Umberlee, the "Bitch Queen" goddess of the sea.
