Damas

The city-state of Damas is the cult centre of Tinevra for the entire Sacred Republic. In the days of the Mage Sovereigns it maintained a long-standing rivalry with the libraries of Oebes, but its own repositories were devastated by reprisals from the Strategos, Scholar and Archlich after the cult’s Presbyters overthrew the Hierophant, and again by the purges which followed the War of Hubris. They have been somewhat restored by an ambitious programme undertaken by the cult and the city's lay scholars to study, copy and reinterpret every text they can get their hands on to populate the Archive of Tinevra.
