The red, brick walls surrounding the Pillar Equipoise may look unassuming, not to mention out of place in the wild, green lethality of Veridia, but they conceal the infinitely recursive geometry and infinitely convoluted complexity of the Unending Ministry. The poison garden immediately around the Ministry is cultivated through constant toil on the part of the minor functionaries of the Hell. Here Sir Omphala, Master of the Infernal Bureaucracy and Archscrivener of the Grey Clerks, and his underlings keep the records of the Hells, including every deal ever struck by devil or demon.
