Zeras

In the time of the Mage Sovereigns, the city-state of Zeras was the domain of the Archlich. Here they built their Palace of Bones, a colossal ossuary fashioned from the bones of their enemies. When the Argeans reclaimed the Province from the Zeranzeri Drow, the Palace was cleansed and reconsecrated as the Great Temple of Zeryskaia, a memorial to the victims of the Mage Sovereigns, but it remains an unquiet place.
Some rumour that the Archlich is not dead, but lies sealed, deathless and disembodied, in the vaults beneath the Palace, bound in wards of Drow making.
