Stósála

Stósála is the capital city of the Parliamentary Republic of Elektrenai, as well as the largest city in the nation. It is a coastal city, located on the southduskward coastline facing the Sea of Salder.

Districts

Stósála contains a number of what are known as greenswards; much like your average park, they are intended to be green spaces within the city, helping to mitigate heat, noise levels, and air pollution, but unlike your average park, they are managed in a much different way. Required to span at least three acres, a greensward is likely to have a handful of maintained trails, a public restroom, and a water fountain, but little else. Arborists and ecologists may occasionally check on the health and growth of the plants within it, trimming them back when they start creeping onto public sidewalks or grow too close to buildings, but they are otherwise left to grow however nature deems fit. Their foliage is often quite dense and serves as a home for a number of types of birds, small rodents, and insects. Greenswards often serve as dividing lines between neighborhoods.

Points of interest

The Elektrenai National Museum faces the Elektrenai Capitol Building, separated by the Central Greensward. It is beloved by locals, tourists, and researchers alike, housing the world's largest collection of artifacts relating to the Lizdah era deities, including the Virag Archway.
