Vetila (veh-TEE-lah)
1st of Sun's Swell, AE 721
One of the youngest extant deities, Vetila is the child of two of the oldest: Prem, deity of time and death, and Nezna, deity of knowledge and the unknown. It is said that the number of stars in the sky doubled in the year after their birth, cementing their position as the deity of anything to do with celestial bodies: astronomy, astrology, divination, and some consider them to be a patron of Aidonia's star-facing side. They don't have enough followers to have devoted churches, but small shrines within churches to Nezna throughout Adis are not uncommon, as are household shrines among those who study the stars.

Novastra - the twenty-fourth day of Witherwane, a holiday celebrating Vetila's birth. While the accuracy of the date is dubious, it signifies when astronomer G.C. Cerqueira first noted the appearance of seven stars where there previously had been none in AE 584, and continued recording additional stars that sparked into existence over the next year.
