Halfling

At first sight, Halflings appear to be, small well fed humans. They share many manners, and habits of their larger bipeds, but closer look reveals larger than proportion eyes, and feet. Generally agrarian, Halflings prefer open spaces, pastures, and land to crowded cities, or towering forests. 
Typically jovial, friendly and hospitable it is said Halflings keep time by the grumbles of their bellies, and projects tend to be diligently tended to, almost as much effort goes into merriment, and social exchanges at mealtime.
"Relaxing requires so much work", as many Halflings will say.
