Autoloom
The autoloom is a recent invention being marketed to clothiers, tailors, seamstresses as an alternative to purchasing textiles from traditional weavers. While it is currently limited to producing single color fabrics, the autoloom has the advantage of quickly producing fabric based on the required yardage rather than having to purchase a full bolt and keeping the rest in stock. On average, the device can produce the same yardage as three guild weavers each day. The Weaver's Guild has voiced concerns about the autoloom, but many believe it will result in allowing the guild to focus on intricate fabrics rather than basic textiles.
