Crostox

A large, flat fish with a T-shaped body that averages 1-2 meters in length, although larger specimens have been reported in deep water. It's triangular pectoral fins extend from it's head and are about one third of its body length in width. The creatures thick tail end in a bony knob covered in spikes. The crostox is highly territorial and will use its tail like a mace against anything it views as a threat to its food supply. In addition to the ability to lacerate or pierce an opponent with its tail, the spikes are coated in a neurotoxin secreted by the crostox.
