Porcupine Quill Stylus

Quills are a staple item among scribes, sages, mages, and any other profession using the written word. While bird feathers are used to make inexpensive writing implements, those who wish to own a higher quality pen seek out those made from porcupine quills. The primary advantage over feathers lies in its resilience and durability allow for a longer life throughout which the writer will notice very little degradation in the lettering produced. Some scribes have taken to using the quills with little to no modification which allows them to write with very fine strokes for documents not requiring more decorative lettering styles.
