And the goddess Mystra balances it all with her magic creating the Weave that allows not only mortals to access magic, but steadies the grand floating islands and continents.
The Stratos has those of the arcane persuasion, far up where the air is thin and only those with wealth or connection are granted an invitation.
The Rimland is the most populated - giant floating continents circle the globe, each with their own distinct biome and cultures.
The Core contains the Ocean - rolling waves, tumultuous storms from the Cloud Layer, and occasional outcroppings of breaches, which lead to the few core cities.
