The Summer Spriggan

One of the eight archfey, and an archfey of summer, Alcelle, sometimes known as the summer spriggan, is the first of the spriggans, and noted for being an example of pure innocence, giving many warriors, who were slain, a body for their spirits to go to after their demise, due to not truly understanding why those people had died. Because of this innocence, Alcelle isn't actually surrounded by her own people, as she brought back warriors, but she is well liked by many other childish or relatively innocent fey, such as the famed blink dog and brownie. Although not widely followed by the eladrin, she is not seen as a threat, and many children in some of the smaller settlements talk about playing games with Alcelle; however, such stories are rarely believed.
Unlike the typical spriggan, which are made entirely from elder wood trees, Alcelle is actually a glowing, sap amber core, which is surrounded by wooden vines, forming an imitation of humanoid features, such eyes, mouth, nose ears and hands. Even though archfey can change their size at will, Alcelle's natural form is that of a child-like spriggan, which reinforces her childish behaviour well, meaning that, naturally, she is actually rather small, making her, along with her amber core, easy to differentiate from regular spriggans.
