Arwick

Built upon and named after the Arwick Peaks, a small range of flat mountains on the south of the Sahrian desert, Arwick is the main settlement of the aarakocra, with them using their inherent flying abilities to traverse the mountains far easier than most. Largely consisting of open roofed, nest like buildings, where many of the aarakocra enter the building through the holes in the top of their buildings. Although the size of the buildings do vary in size, none are particularly too large, with the largest of the buildings being built upon a raised section of the largest mountain. 
Curiously, there aren't any paths up to the mountain, but there are marker made from stacks of stones that seem to signify those who travel up the mountain that the town is in that direction. Because of how steep the mountain side is, many, who are not aarakocra, are forced to climb up the side of the mountain, making the journey, which is rather simple for most aarakocra, rather dangerous for other races who cannot fly.
