The Golden Forest

Named after its all year round golden leaves, the Golden Forest was once the home of the wood elves of the continent, similar to how the Ithryl Woods are the home of the high elves. The Golden Forest was not as large as The Ithryl Woods, but was highly dense, with many wooden homes being built in it for the wood elf population.
Unfortunately, many now know of The Golden Forest due to the exodus of the wood elves from it after it was burned down by The Martian Empire after being unable to defeat the elves and their guerrilla tactics. Because of this act, the Golden Forest is now more so known as the Scorched Forest, being devoid of life, and being a permanent scar on the world.
