Ultis, the Primordial of Time
(a.k.a. The Solar Deity)
The Primordial Deity of Time, it is said that Ultis, who is the very sun which hangs in the sky, existed before anything else, simply drifting in the empty void of space alone, for what was essentially an eternity. It wasn't until Pateras and Matera, fellow Primordials, appeared before him, that his loneliness was put to an end. They began to create, bringing the world of Aither into existence, while also bringing their children into said world. The realm he had created around himself, to contain his energy and prevent his power form destroying the world that was being built before him, began to emulate light, a sign of his unfathomable power, which illuminated everything around him. This became the sun, where he would dwell for the rest of eternity.

Ultis and Matera:
It is theorised that Ultis is the eldest of all beings and is, at the very least, the eldest being of Aither, being only one of three beings that existed long before the world itself was created. When Pateras and Matera arrived in his domain, causing him to seal himself within his solar shell so that he would destroy the world they were creating, Matera grew distant from her partner, given how involved he became with the creation of Aither. Even her children became entirely involved, just like their father, causing her to feel a loneliness that she had never felt before. In this loneliness she sought out Ultis, beginning an affair. This resulted in a child, Ornathon, which outraged Patera, causing him to take Matera and leave Aither behind.
