Zyggog

The Horror of the Underdark

One of the five Eldritch Horrors, and Father of the mindflayers, Zyggog is known for his destructive, almost uncontrollable psionic power, which he past on to his people. A massive creature, who plagues the mortals of the Underdark with maddening nightmares, Zyggog has a vaguely humanoid upper body, with tentacles protruding from where his lower body should be. A large tentacle comes out his head, almost entirely engulfing the top of its head.
From his sheer psionic/ telekinetic power, Zyggog manipulated the very script of the world through this might, creating the first Elderbrain into the Underdark. This slowly created a hive mind across the Underdark of the Material Realm, liked to him through these Elderbrains. From the Elderbrains came the Mindflayers, and from them the Empire of the Mind was made. Zyggog uses them to collect the memories of the world, absorbing it all from the collective mind he has created through the Mindflayers, can constantly seeks know all that he can from the world.
