Eleusis, Caverns of Danger, 01. Fungus Forest

Design

The cavern is approximately 80 feet in length and 40 feet across. Mossy paths run between patches of stout trillimac and a forest of towering zurkhwood whose caps scrape the 40-foot-high ceiling. Throughout the cavern are small clearings where the fungi have been torn out of the mossy ground.

Entries

A large passage leads to the north, while five other passages leave the room: three small passages lead off to the west, one to the south, and one to the east.

Hazards & Traps

Characters who search for tracks and succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom (Survival) check find several large, bare footprints made by Jibber-Jabber who regularly feeds on the mushrooms in this cavern.
