Angles are warrior servants to all the Deities in Akara and different subraces of Angels work for different Deities.

Anatomy

Angels have a very similar structure to humans except often with bright color skin and wings.

Genetics and Reproduction

Angels do not reproduce with other Angels rather the deities make them from magic. that being said angels can and have reproduced with mortals in the past.

Ecology and Habitats

Most Angels reside on a completely different plane of existance with their deities and can often be found in The Proven fields.

Social Structure

While Different subraces of angels work with different deities different angels still get along with each other and call angels of the same deity brother or sister. Except for the Valkery who even if they are of the same deity are saluted and treated with the utmost respect.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Angels are inherently magical and draw their magic from the energy of their deities. They often have wings and can fly.

Civilization and Culture

Beauty Ideals

Wing appearance is extremely important to angels as much as their hair or skin, so when considering beauty large pristine wings are usually what attracts their eye.

Courtship Ideals

Courting amongst angels is very different than courting amongst mortals. Angels show their affection often through their wings since that is the main source of their beauty ideals. There are elaborate dances based around an angel's wings that signal courtship and are performed at different stages of a relationship.

Relationship Ideals

While Angels do not reproduce with each other they are often in relationships with one another simply for the company and companionship. Though they only date angels of other deities and never of their own since angels under the same diety are considered close family.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Relationships between Angles and mortals are not restricted or forbidden but most angels refrain from them since they live so much longer. As well as the fact that mortal courtship is so different since they don't have wings that most angels can't tell when a mortal is flirting. Relationships between mortals and angels are often viewed as flings to angels even if they last an entire lifetime to the mortal.
