Vesani
Over the years, since before era, many people have gotten lost within the The Vesania Expanse and while they are not seen by anyone outside the expanse again, this does not mean death. The Vesani people are made up of two groups the newly lost, and the descendants of the lost. The descendants of the lost are the people who have lived in the expanse their whole lives, they have never seen any land outside the ever-changing Vesania. The newly lost are the ones from neighboring kingdoms who traveled in and could not make it out before the change. If they wander long enough they can find the Vesani people.

Shared customary codes and values
Ever since the beginning of the Vesani people, it has been understood that they can not turn away anyone who has been lost in the expanse. They were choosen to help the lost and to not provide aid is to bring down the wrath of Amentia himself.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
During both dusk and dawn when the changes occur, the whole settlement gathers together in time for prayer and to make sure everyone is accounted for and no one is lost.
Coming of Age Rites
When children come of age they go through a process known as the understanding of Madness. At age 18 a child accompanied by an adult who has already gone through this rite travel outside the settlement and go through one of the changes of the land. Children born of the expanse have a connection to it and are able to traverse the changes. This rite is only done with children who were born in the expanse and many who were not can not make it back to the settlement on their own. Most people still try to stay within the settlement during the changes even after their rights. Even the best of the Vesani can still get lost in the madness.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Death and Decay are a rare sight to see in the Vesania expanse. Nothing born of the expanse dies of age. This however does not apply to the newly lost who were born in the outside. When a newly lost dies of old age or a descendant dies from other threats, the funeral affects the entire Vesani people. A procession travels deep into the expanse where the body is buried, that it may return to the madness of the land. There is then a week of mourning followed by a week of celebration of life for those lost.
Common Myths and Legends
The Vesani legend of how the expanse came to be is different from the rumors of the outside world. It is believed that Amentia saw humanity at its worst and he wept for the fate of humankind. In his weeping, his tears hit the soil and created a safe haven for a chose few to save those who were lost.

When two people begin to get romantically involved there is a tradition of making a flower crown for one another. Not just any flower crown but one made with flowers spanning at least 5 different changes. Representing the patience and time that goes into starting a serious relationship.
