Dune Elves

Appearance
Dune elves’ skin tends to be copperish in hue. Their hair tends toward browns and blacks, but it is occasionally blond or copper-colored. Their eyes are opalescent due to the large concentration of Prismeccence in their diets. Dune elves tend to be more compact than sun elves and moon elves to minimize their water loss in the desert.

Society

Dune elves live in underground communities called Daq'ael, origanlly meaning gathering in danger, where they can be shielded from the harsh sun

History

During the height of the solaris empire a rebbellion was set afoot by a group of solar elves who believed the solaris throne and the solaris clergy corrupt. however the solaris throne squashed the rebellion and exiled the survivors from the solaris empire into the Runian desert Traditions
Sar'kir Sar'kir is a rite of passage for young dune elves where they have to ride a sandworm using a grappling hook to steer the gargantuan creature. a Sar'kir is a very important event for a young dune elf as it shows that the elf is a full fledged member of the community
