Moon Elves

Moon elves are also known as Teu'Tel'Quessir
after the elven schism
Elves are humanoids with pointed ears and are often shorter than humans Moon elves are much paler, with alabaster skin sometimes tinged with blue. They often have hair of silver-white, black, or blue, but various shades of blond, brown, and red are not uncommon. Their eyes are blue or green and flecked with gold. Moon elves are the tallest of the non-subterranean elves and stand only a little shorter than humans on average
Moon elves live in beautiful halls in valleys among the mountains where they live mostly on fruits and vegetables which they grow in orchards and pastures in the valleys, but also sometimes trade and buy game from hunters who live among the peaks
More tolerant of humans than other elves, moon elves were the ancestors of most half-elves. They were considered high elves sometimes also called eladrin. moon elves have a natural wanderlust and would often spend their youth traveling finding causes they believed in before settling back down in their valley sanctuaries but enjoying the company and news of travelers often letting them rest in their halls and guiding them on their journeys in exchange for sharing their tales and news from the surrounding lands.
in ancient times all moon elven noble houses owned a moonblade however most have been lost to history along with the secret of their crafting many moonelven smiths have tried and failed in the ages past.
moon elven scribes have been known to write in a secret script known as Lunaris which reads as elven but is invisible to the naked eye unless under the same moon as they were written under. the script is difficult to master and though writing in it has fallen out of favor for most scribes many still use it while reading ancient manuscripts and documents.
