Chapter 6: Epilogue, Book I
We are suddenly transported many planes away. To a forgotten room…on a forgotten plan…in a forgotten building…sits a forgotten music box. It plays out a gently harmony audible only heard on the level of planar stings.
The box counts down, as it has for millennia, but it now clicks to 4…3…2…1…0. It suddenly rings a deep chord that echoes through spacetime, and its reverberations touch across earth and void alike.
Across the planes, 6 portals open simultaneously. One is on a plane of fire, another in the dust, and one…is suspended in an abyss, deep in a cave within the realm of the Demigod Orathis. The portal has not been open for more than a few seconds when it takes in an expected torrent of water, and 5 sentient creatures, plummeting into the abyss.
