Oblesh, the Spider Mother

The giant spider that found her way into the abandoned caverns of Sharkeel Cove, it is rumored she, along with other great spiders migrated to the material plane through a portal created deep in the underdark long ago. They were hunted in great numbers by all manner of contracted adventurers, since their large liters would spread across the mine systems of the region and disrupt commerce. Most have long been eradicated, but some of the great spiders are rumored to still inhabit the depths beneath Akarious.
