Billy the Puffski

That Billy is a real puu buu, but there's no denying that he's got guts. He sure does a lot for a puffski, and he's always headed somewhere to do something that sounds cool.

Billy is a puffski, a world hopping puff person. He is famous for being unusually gutsy and adventurous for a puffski, and he always seems to be traveling from place to place to meet a friend.

Personality

Like a lot of puffskis, Billy has a charming, childlike personality. He is cheerful and polite, and sometimes flirts in his own way. All men are "Mister," all women are "Pretty Lady" or "Ma'am." He demonstrates an unusual degree of bravery for a puffski; where most would scuttle away, he stays around to get a look at the action or even help where he can. He makes use of his small size and squishy body to squeeze into places as a spy, and once was found wielding a sword made just for him (it may have been a modified letter opener). He is sympathetic to others and gets emotional when they do.

Exploits

When you're a wandering puffski who scans the universe for new world signals as often as Billy does, you're bound to find something new and awesome eventually. He travels the universe, making friends and seeing sights (and sites). While he prefers to go to worlds that have already been documented, he has gone out on a limb and found some places of interest in the universe.

Cathedral of Word Order

Billy was the first outsider to enter the Cathedral of Word Order in at least two centuries, mostly by accident. The Cathedral is a floating island in space with a unique property: it allows for direct conversion of words to power, without a magical charge or any sort of processing. It is home to the New Word Order, a sect that believes that words have the ultimate power in the universe.
When Billy arrived, the heads of the Order were planning to open the Cathedral up to outsiders anyway through a tournament that would make use of the island's ability to derive power from speech. The tournament was intended to help the Archbishop of the Order pick a protege and possible successor. The end result was something like a magical rap battle tournament, with a participant's flow and wordplay determining their speech's power. Billy entered for the fun of it and made it surprisingly far, partly due to pun powers and maybe partly due to people being willing to support a cute puffball person. He did get defeated by a man with an intense flow and the ability to cram deep philosophy into a few bars, but he didn't mind, as "a puffski probably wouldn't make a great Archbishop anyway."

Land of the Attuners

When scanning for new places to go, Billy found a signal that felt very distant. He followed it, and found himself in the land of the doglike Attuners. They were surprised to have a visitor, as they were a rather insular people. His friendly attitude won them over, and he encouraged them to go out into the universe and explore like him. Not all of them took his advice, but some have left the Attuner space to spread awareness of their existence, and others are considering opening the Attuner space up to others.
