Gata, Beloved

"Gata is one of the only few words known in a long lost language. It means Beloved, but beloved doesn't always mean loving back"

Gata is the leader of the The Gozanal, the largest underground organization in Thyra. She is a changeling, decended from the Orphans, capable of changing forms at will.

Many Forms

Gata just so happens to be extremely skilled with her changeling abilities. She is capable of switching forms at such a rapid pace and in such a blink of an eye, which she puts to powerful effect during any encounter. In any conversation with another individual, especially ones where she needs to win them over, she can subtlely change the way she presents herself throughout the conversation to affect how they feel about and perceive her. In battle, she uses her form switching to create confusion and uncertainty in her enemies, while using agreed upon signals to keep her alliessecure in their knowledge of the battlefield.

Typically, when with the Gozanal, Gata will take the form of a brunette hobbit woman. While the members of the Gozanal and denizens of beneath cloudmist are generally very diverse, she chose this form to stay away from anything that seems supernatural in nature to anyone, to lessen the sense of division between the members and the leadership of the Gozanal.

Out up on the surface, Gata will most often make use of her tiefling or wood elf personas when around the aristocracy or anyone else of interest. She also enjoys making use of dragonborn forms and male forms of any ancestry when the situation calls for it.

Mother of the Orphans

Gata is the mother to 8 daughters, all changelings themselves. She did not bear them herself, as no changeling would ever need to do. Instead, she puts that burden on someone else who loves her. However, once they each grew to about 4 years old (depending on ancestry of course), she did what most changelings also would never do. She collected them to be raised by herself, usually against the wishes of her former lover. Often, out of sight from the child, she would kill the parent, and bestow their form as the first alias to the child when the child is ready.
