The dwarves that boldly marched south and up into the frozen Rimvald Mountains, built mighty fortresses, including their capital Thord, and became the drumdar, mountain dwelling dwarfkin. Their craft is building strong and sturdy, grand and awe-inspiring. The Thordian drumdar share many customs with the Kulds, but are of tougher and rougher stuff, and perhaps as a result, are stubborn and resistant to changing their customs, even ones a thousand years old.
Drumdar favor fighting and forging, battle and planning. They also enjoy a good hearty celebration hall. Their classes are generally warrior and knight classes, with some barbarians. What magica drumdar do dabble in tends to be abjuration or geomancy, though not exclusively.
