Tanu and Ki
God(ess) of Mischief
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Tanu and Ki do not have a set physical form in which they appear. They often take the shape of a species familiar to the soul they are passing judgement on. Though Tanu often appears mysterious, Ki tries to present herself as a motherly figure. In many worlds their identity is often shrouded as looking like a creature from that world that shares in Tanuki's nature.

Personal history
Tanu and Ki were once a single being known as Tanuki. He was well known for playing tricks on imortals and mortals alike. But one day he 'pranked' a few deities who were more powerful than himself. They did not take kindly to his actions and in an act of revenge/punishment they split Tanuki's soul in two. The first being Tanu who retained much of his mischivious ways and the second being Ki, who for the most part is grounded and responsible. They then exiled the two to the passage of souls for all eternity where they now partake in passing judgement on souls passing from the living universe to the astral.
Gender Identity
Tanu appears male while Ki appears female in form.
Mental Trauma
Tanu and Ki suffered some degree of trauma both mentally and spiritually when they were seperated. It is not known the extent of the damage, however, they are left with the memory of the pain that haunts them any time they consider trying to leave the Passage of Souls.
Intellectual Characteristics
Tanu is overly mischievious sometimes bordering evil in nature. He Loves to torment souls before revealing their judgement to them. He rarely gets a chance to go to far as his partner usually intervenes before that.
Ki on the other hand is for the most part his polar oposite, she is very grounded and often overly kind. She ends up spending most her time consuling the souls tormented by her partner. Though her cheerful nature has often earned her some ire, as even when conveying negative judgements her demeanor causes her to seem joyfully evil.

Tanuki really went overboard. Quite an interesting idea and their duality is a fun aspect.
