Personal history

Olivia was born to two military parents who fought for the dragon God Rania during the second dragon god war. Learning to fight at a young age, she always aspired to pledge herself to Rania, the same way her parents had.   At sixteen she began her recruitment process. Initially cocky when she started, she was devastated when they denied her not only once, but four times.   She, however, refused to leave the training halls, having wanted to serve her entire life. At the age of twenty she was accepted into the ranks of Tem'uk. Humility and Determination both learned, she climbed the ranks, fighting valiantly and strongly in the name of her father and in the name of her Dragon God.   At the age of thirty-three, Olivia became wounded in battle, her knee's tendons being sliced during a sword fight. She waited for her death to come as she knelt in front of her successor, instead, watching her comrade, Denizend Ol, ram the attacker with his shield, driving his sword deep into his chest.   Rania's clerics worked hard to help her regain her mobility, healing her physically. Olivia had lost her ruthless drive, mentally she had prepared herself to die, and felt that she no longer was due to live on this earth. Withdrawing from the military, Rania's generals cast shame upon her, shunning her name for an inability to continue serving her God. Olivia was cast out of her family home, her parents turning a cold shoulder to her, even the towns folk she fought hard to protect discarded her.   Living in the copper quarters in __________, Olivia lay awake staring at the hammock above her, a woman's voice she had heard for the last year talking in her ear. Having grown accustom to the companionship this whisper gave her, she lay and listen to the stories the woman weaved, drifting to sleep as she did every other night. This night however, the voice was paired with a face.
