The Human Goddess Pantheon
The Human Goddess Pantheon is comprised of several deities that gain devotion from their followers through prayer and reflection. Some require additional offerings, but not often.
They are generous with their power and intervene often with their holy devotees, sending them visions, holy quests and good health, and in return their followers send their life force to the Goddess', through devotion and in their afterlife, sending their souls to their chosen faith.
The Human Goddess Pantheon is comprised of several Goddess':
Malissa, Goddess of War & Peace (CG) Though many find her domain contradictory, Malissa's faith believes in finding peace through strength, courage and determination, and believes that there can be no peace without the influences of war, and what the end of a battle brings. Her paladins have been considered the turning change in many important battles throughout history.
Pence, The Goddess of Closure and Ritual (N) The disciples of Pence have had many years of stigma to fight against, in their early days they were called necromancers, however their strict code of conduct and oaths they take have seen them move more into a role of burial and helping families find closure. Pence only provides her power to clerics, to tend her temples and grave sites.
Coop, Goddess of Strength and Perseverance (NG) The church of Coop is considered extinct, as in the days of her power, she would provide power to paladins to fight in both her name and in that of her sister's, Pence. The sister goddess' both worked together, and their faiths intertwined, as were their lives. However the _____ Great War saw the downfall of Coop's faith, the Goddess only appearing in scripture in the temples of Pence.
