Alam'dar
The Alam'dar, or Stewards of the Land, are an ethnicity of large humanoids that claim decent from the Rabu. They are, it is said, the children of the Rabu and Angels, and are siblings to the Repha'im. They have been imbued with the power of Gav-e Naer and Haoma's 's lights, represented by her twin moons, and as such have Aurochs-like features and an affinity for the twilight.
Like the Repha'im, The Alam'dar are a reclusive people. Where the Repha'im took to the mountains, the Alam'dar took to the deepest glades. Much like their alpine bretheren, the Alam'dar are the chosen stewards of their lands. They have long communed with the land, caretaken over their glades and groves. But where the Repha'im embody the strength and aspiration of the peaks, the Alam'dar demonstrate the dpeths and subleties of the dark forest. They are naturally tuned into the magics of the land and can use it to weave galmours of shadow to keep themselves hidden, and to speak with creatures and plants aligned to the Beneficial Immortals.
Alam'dar, despite the stealth, belie there Rabu origins in their large size standing between 7-8 feet tall and weighing 250-300 lbs. Unlike the Repha'im who are nearly hairless, the true form of the Alam'dar is fur-covered, with floppy ears and a wide bovine nose, though their appearance shifts with the shadows of the forest, and they can magically disguise themselves amongst the other peoples of the land.
