Mittani Camel

Native to the Yazdgerd Desert , Mittanni Camels are especially adapted to the cold desert sands of the region.
They have extra large hooves that spread to stay afloat on the sands, and they have sensitive hairs between their toes that are especially tuned to the deep vibrations that monstrous worms make as they burrow through the sand.
They have extra thick coats to withstand the freezing temperatures. They are known by the Mittani as being especially skittish and ornery, and only the most skilled of herders have been able to bond with them enough to use as pack animals.
