Eísun

A large desert landmass with a vast colorful mesa within its core, Eísun is the birthplace of the Tabaxi race. The mesa itself named Colors of Eternity holds many caves and tunnels that the Tabaxi use as their homes and societies. The main society of Colors of Eternity is named Golden Dawn. Because of the desolate landscape, the people of Golden Dawn mostly stay within their caves only coming out during the dawn and dusk.

Fauna & Flora

Giant Silk Worms, Acacia Trees, Sage Brush, Rodents, Various Birds of Prey within Colors of Eternity.

The coast holds a much more vibrant collection of flora and fauna with boars, deer, exotic fruits, and marine life.

Natural Resources

The main export of Eísun is beautiful silk harvested from giant silk worms that eat the terracotta of the area and produce vibrantly colored silks. These creatures are highly protected by the Tabaxi of Colors of Eternity with punishment for theft or intentional destruction of these creatures being death.
The port cities on the edge of Eísun are mostly fishing towns that also serve as trade hubs.

History

The Tabaxi race began their society as hunters/gatherers on the shores of Eísun surviving off the wealth of the marine life, exotic fruits, and the land creatures that subsisted the area. Early on, they ventured across the continent and found the Colors of Eternity. Though beautiful, the area was desolate and many couldn't find a way to live there until one individual, a woman named Golden, discovered the giant silk worms that lived within the caves and tunnels underneath the surface of the mesa. Learning of the beautiful silks they produced naturally dyed by the area itself, she began harvesting the silks and selling them to the other continents of Alara. With this newfound wealth she created for herself, she created a society within the caves known as Golden Dawn. She shared her wealth freely with her people and created a society dedicated to the equality of all. Golden Dawn now has no leader and is a true democracy where each citizen has a say in the laws of the land.
