Hallardin Castle

Hallardin, in addition to being a small fiefdom, is also the home of Hallardin castle. The castle is among the oldest structures built that remain standing. It is believed to have been raised by Endomic, evidenced by the smooth stone walls opposed to brick constructions.
Sadly, half a century of neglect has left the castle and the attending lands in a poor state. The title, Lord of Hallardin has widely been considered to have been an honorific title appointed by the monarch. Once appointed it cannot be revoked. The late Lord Luther Hoglos was the most recent holder of the title, until his death.
The castle itself is rather large compared to castles of the modern age. Four towers once overlooked the surrounding vallies, but one of them has collapsed since. The other one is unihabitable, but the two that remain are workable. The castle has a sheer cliff on one side and the other is a green valley.
