Rkundzelft

History

Rkundzelft, also known as "The Sunken City" is a ruin that exists within the Eastern Marshes. Much of the city is underwater, save the rooftops and a handful of towers. The city was constructed by an unknown group of mages that fought at the battle of the Redwaters. This battle is suspected to have ended badly for the mages, resulting in the fate of their city. Most people avoid the city because of the difficult trip to reach it and the fact the majority is underwater.

Legend

Some people claim there is a being there of extreme power that has killed a number of travelers. It is rare to find tales recorded by someone who has been to the city enough to verify, because anyone who continually visits the city eventually doesn't return. Despite being constructed by magic the city is slowly being reclaimed by the swamp. Although it is a place of interest within academic circles because it is one of few places where early endomic construction techniques can still be studied in the wild. It has been theorized that Zoldar Han's Maumet has taken up residence in the city. Either way, it is unlikely a return to Rkundzelft will be happening any time soon.
