Runesmiths of Tel'Mithrim

The Runesmiths of Tel'Mithrim are the undisputed master of runecraft and are comprised of various races that have been accepted to the guild via knowledge of their craft. The majority of their ranks are Dwarves or Elves since their long lives allow them to master their craft. Entry to the guild is highly competative and there are only ever usually around 250 members at a given time. Typically, the masters of Tel'Mithrim accept tasks on a case by case basis and there are knots of crafters who specialize in certain fields.

Legacy

Every city aims to have their gates engraved with runes that strengthen them and ward off attackers. But only 1 city in 100 will ever been deemed acceptable by the masters, and have their wish granted. Their processes are known only to the masters and their trade secrets are kept under a very strict campaign of misinformation and secrecy.
