Smikar's Stone

Smikar's Stone is the primary building material used by stone masons in the construction of castles. It is produced in large quantities by the alchemist guilds in @Albris, and shipped via sea. The process is a carefully guarded secret, but normal stone is quarried and some form of magical tempering occurs to make the stone more durable. Most castles aren't entirely constructed out of this stone, usually one brick in three is Smikar's Stone. It is named after Thaslefur Smikar, the gnome alchemist who invented the process in the year 4080.
