Tavern Knights

Tavern Knights are knights who wander without a master. Many knights are sworn to the service of a great lord, but some knights are unlanded. These unlanded knights seek employment wherever they can. Many of these knights participate in tournaments, seeking the interest of a lord who's willing to employ them.
The name "Tavern Knight" is a joke that pokes fun at the fact that many of these knights are forced to sleep in taverns. The only key difference between a tavern knight and a mercenary is that the knights have been annointed. People like Sir Kuno are considered famous tavern knights.
