The Eastern Marshes

The Eastern Marches are a vast expanse of marshland that extends to the foothills of the Sunwalls. The power of a battle fought long ago sunk the land down and allowed the sea to flood in (or so the story goes). Some believe that powerful relics have been claimed by the swamp, but can still be found by those who have the will. There are only a handful of trails that pass "safely" through the swamp. Korthia doesn't bother placing a castle in the swamp since it's almost suicide to go through it with an army anyway. There are whispers of a sunken city within the swamps.
