The Riverfolk of Kentar

The Riverfolk of Kentar are a group of people who live exclusively along the Thaynar River that runs for nearly three hundred miles to the sea. All of the Kentari cities are built along the water, and their capital Utadir actually floats on a large amount of floating moss. Generally Utadir is anchored at the mouth of the river but in times of war they have been allowed to paddle along the river using a series of tugs and poles. Although this has only happened on two occasions in Kentar's history. Very few people have ever had an interest in invading the river nation. The terrain surrounding the water varies from marshy to pine forest. Only to the far north does the river freeze over and the people ice skate and ice fish. They are ruled by a council with a representative of each town coming to meet in Utadir.
