The Ruins of Meridiath

The Ruins of Meridiath are all that remains of the once great elven city of Meridiath. Built along the western coasts, the city sat utop the bluffs overlooking the sea. Relentless assault by waves caused by natural phenomena caused the cliff to give away en masse causing a rockslide that brought the city into the sea. Only the tips of the tallest buildings can still be seen poking from the water, though large sections of the city are believed to still be intact below the surface.
