The Sunwalls are the largest mountain range west of the Great Gap. They acquired their name due to the shards of glass that are on the surface of the stone. This means when the sunset or sunrise hit the mountain, they shine as the glass reflects the sun. This means the mountain range has become a favorite among painters.
