War of Dwarven Vengance

The War of Dwarven Vengeance was fought from the year 641 AS to 650 AS and was the first large scale war between Dwarves and Elves. Prior to this, the Dwarves and Elves had worked together, and even fought together against the Tolgian Empire. But as relations began to sour, the Elves raided the tomb of a Dwarven king, whose name is only recorded as Lord Canik. Dwarven envoys demanded the return of all the artifacts found within the tomb, and the punishment of the expedition members. The Elves refused and crushed the Dwarven army at the Battle of the Red Moors. In response the Dwarves set fire to the Elven city of Tel-Authwen before a peace agreement was reached.
