Guildmaster

The Guildmaster is the head of a group of individuals who have banded together based on common skills, talents, interests, desires, etc. This group is known as a Guild.

Qualifications

The Guildmaster must demonstrate both knowledge and experience in their trade or craft, as well as the people and political skills necessary to lead a Guild effectively.

Appointment

The Guildmaster raises to their rank through hard work and dedication to their craft or trade. A solemn ceremony followed by a Guild wide (or often community wide) celebration raises the person to the rank of Guildmaster.

Duties

A Guildmaster must run, manage and govern the Guild and its members. They are accountable for the decisions and actions of both the Guilds as an organization and its members.

Accoutrements & Equipment

The Guildmaster is entitled to wear the symbol of office--a large gold or silver chain with a medallion of the guild and the office of Guildmaster.
